I am an experienced and fully qualified Person-Centred, Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I abide by the BACP's Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

Having experienced the benefits of counselling and psychotherapy myself, I have first-hand experience of the personal growth that can occur when working with a non-judgmental, empathic therapist. I have a background in the Creative Arts with a BA (hons.) in Mixed-media art and textiles. My creative practice is part of my own therapeutic process and brings meaning to me. Along with being in nature, I find having an ongoing commitment to regular meditation and mindfulness practice helps to restore and ground me.

Rich experiences throughout my life such as travelling and living abroad when younger; becoming a mother and working in a variety of environments before studying as a mature student, have helped me to feel comfortable relating to people from all walks of life.
